Job Safety and Health: It's the Law
Employers do not need to replace previous versions of the poster, however, all covered employers are required to display and keep displayed, a poster prepared by the Department of Labor informing employees of the protections of the Occupational Safety and Health Act P.L. 91-596, December 29, 1970 and its amendments. Employers in state OSHA states may be required to use a state required poster instead. Title 29 Code of Federal Regulations, 1903.2(a)(3) states that reproductions or facsimiles of the poster shall be at least 8 1/2 by 14 inches with 10 point type. Equal Employment Opportunity is the Law
Every employer covered by the non-discrimination and EEO laws is required to post on its premises the poster, "Equal Employment Opportunity is the Law." The notice must be posted prominently, where it can be readily seen by employees and applicants for employment. The Office of Federal Contract Compliance Programs (OFCCP) recognizes that there are differences between its version of this poster and the poster provided by the U.S. Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (EEOC). Despite these differences, both posters are accepted as valid by OFCCP and EEOC.

Employee Polygraph Protection Act Poster
Every employer subject to the Employee Polygraph Protection Act (EPPA) shall post and keep posted on its premises a notice explaining the Act, as prescribed by the Secretary of Labor. Employers are required to provide to persons entitled to the rights and benefits under the Uniformed Services Employment and Reemployment Rights Act (USERRA), a notice of the rights, benefits and obligations of such persons and such employers under USERRA. Employers may provide the notice, “Your Rights Under USERRA”, by posting it where employee notices are customarily placed. OSHA Injury and Illness Recordkeeping Requirements or call 1-202-693-1888
Effective January 2002, employers subject to OSHA's recording keeping rules will need to record work-related injuries and illnesses on the new OSHA 300 logs. Employers who employed 11 or more employees (full-time or part-time) at any one time during the past 12 months are required to comply with OSHA's record-keeping requirements. This includes posting the OSHA 300A log February 1 to April 30 of the following year. You must also inform each employee of how he or she is to report an injury or illness to you so you may want to consider posting this process with all other postings.

- Pesticide application records from before each application begins until 30 days after the end of the restricted/entry interval (REI)
Pesticide notification
- Orally warn workers or post entrances to treated areas.
- Orally warn workers and post treated areas when pesticide label specifies.
- Post legible 14 inch by 16 inch WPS warning signs just before application.
- Post smaller signs in nurseries and greenhouses if desired. Note: 7 inch by 8 inch signs must be posted no more than 50 feet apart. 4.5 inch by 5 inch signs must be posted no more than 25 feet apart.
- Post signs so they can be seen at all entrances to treated areas.
- Remove all signs within three days after the end of the REI
