"No minor (under the age of 18 years) shall be employed unless the employer keeps on the premises a complete list of all minors employed by the employer at a particular establishment. The list and abstract shall be posted in plain view in a conspicuous place" O.R.C. Section 4109.08 (Agricultural employers are exempted when minors do not live in migrant labor camps). Migrant Ombudsman Poster
Upon the issuance of an Ohio agricultural labor camp license, the licensor (Ohio Department of Health) shall provide at least two copies of the poster relating to the migrant agricultural ombudsman, as required by the Ohio Revised Code, to the licensee. At least one copy of the poster shall be posted in a conspicuous place within the camp.
Ohio Bureau of Workers' Compensation
- Employers are required to post the Certificate of Premium Payment and Rebuttable Presumption Certificate together and in a conspicuous place. Both certificates are mailed by BWC to the employer after payment of premium.
- Effective October 13, 2004, employers are required to post the Rebuttable Presumption Certificate.
You may also call the Ohio Bureau of Workers' Compensation at 1-800-644-6292. This notice shall be no smaller than the Certificate of Premium Payment.
Ohio No Smoking Posting
All “public places” and “places of employment” must, effective Dec. 7, 2006, post conspicuous signs at each pedestrian entrance and in covered registered motor vehicles. The signs must be clearly legible and shall contain a toll-free number for reporting violations. The Ohio Department of Health has designed sample signs which, when properly placed, meet the requirements of ORC 3794.06 (A) Posting of Signs.
